The purpose of this Commercial Transportation Best Practices program is to ensure the safe operation of all vehicles registered under the authority of National Safety Code and a Safety Fitness Certificate (SFC).
This program applies to all your company employees who are authorized to operate your commercial vehicles or are in a position directly related to the operation of the commercial vehicles such as dispatchers, drivers, maintenance & repair personnel and administrative personnel.
This Commercial Transportation Best Practices offers guidelines designed to address specific actions including but not limited to: seatbelts, speed limits, refueling, hours of service, cargo securement, load restrictions, inspections & maintenance, driver & vehicle file requirements, paperwork requirements, logbooks, etc.
This Commercial Transportation Best Practices is designed to pass National Safety Code (NSC), Transportation Safety Fitness Certification requirements, ComplyWorks, Avetta and ISNetworld ® RAVS ® Commercial Vehicle Operation (4500kg GWR) – Canada.
